Best practice conference

By admin | Mai 24, 2007

While I have a few minutes to blog, I decided to post about the upcomming “Best Practice in Education” conference that will take place in Second Life tomorrow.

I am looking forward to meeting a few list members from the education mailinglist in person. I also hope to learn more about some educational project established in Second Life so far.

The event also makes me wonder, how many of the supposedly 800 registered attendants will actually show up and if it will still be possible for everyone to see his favourite speakers or panels. But then even die hard residents of Second Life have to sleep some time, so in a 24 hours event there should be a chance for everyone. I count living in CET an advantage, but this is just based on my prejudice that more members of the educators community still have a US background.
