Eduserve Symposium

Eduserv symposium: Jim Purbick speakingI write this while listening to a symposium held by the Eduserve Foundation on “Virtual worlds, real learning?” in London today that is streamed into Second Life.

So far I liked the presentation by Jim Purbick best, even if someone from the audience called it “rose tainted”. It was a great example how you could introduce Second Life and its educational potential to people unfamiliar with the virtual world so far.

The streams are supposed to be made available after the conference, unless technical difficulties prohibit it. Should be worth taking a look.
